LPPT-UGM serves various test parameters for various types of samples. The fields of testing served by LPPT-UGM cover the fields of physics, chemistry, biology and electricity. Samples that can be tested at LPPT-UGM include samples of food, beverages, blood, natural materials, bacteria, animal and plant tissues, insulators and various other types of samples (types of samples are attached). Test parameters include pork contamination analysis, toxicity, water content, protein content, biofilm mass, solubility, drug content, and various other test parameters (test parameters attached). During the last 5 years, LPPT-UGM has served more than 130,000 parameter samples from various test fields. In order to provide more adequate testing services, LPPT-UGM also affiliates with several laboratories at UGM. Currently affiliated laboratories of LPPT-UGM include: (a) Laboratory of Dairy Animal Science and Dairy Industry (ITPIP), Faculty of Animal Husbandry; (b) Advanced Pharmaceutical Science (APS) Laboratory, Faculty of Pharmacy; (c) Integrated Research Laboratory, Faculty of Dentistry; (d) Genetics and Breeding Laboratory (GenMul), Faculty of Biology; (e) Biomaterial Chemical Conversion Laboratory (KKB), Faculty of Forestry; (f) High Voltage Technology Laboratory (TTT), Faculty of Engineering; (g) Microbiology Laboratory, Faculty of Pharmacy; and (h) Biochemistry Laboratory, Faculty of Biology.
Testing Activities
LPPT-UGM management is committed to professional practice and quality testing in serving partners and customers. In addition, in carrying out testing LPPT UGM refers to the ISO/IEC 17025: 2017 laboratory quality management system, prioritizing quality and satisfaction of partners and customers, and ensuring that testing work is carried out with technical honesty, thoroughness, accuracy, and confidentiality. Since 2021 the LPPT-UGM has been proven to have testing competence that has been accredited by the National Accreditation Committee (KAN). This is an accreditation certificate for LPPT-UGM which has demonstrated competence as a Testing Laboratory that consistently applies the SNI ISO/IEC 17025:2017 (ISO/IEC 17025:2017) standard
