Research related to the use of experimental animals is currently developing quite rapidly. The use of experimental animals includes research that aims to determine the effectiveness of an active ingredient, the toxicity of a drug, the spread of pathogens, preclinical testing, and so on. In using experimental animals, researchers are expected to carry out the principles of using experimental animals properly and correctly, in accordance with scientific, humane and high ethical principles. Therefore, LPPT UGM through the Preclinical Laboratory and Experimental Animal Development provides services related to the ethical feasibility of using experimental animals, with the following commission structure:
